Glasgow provost told to resign after luxury expense claims revealed
The SNP's Eva Bolander has faced calls to resign after she was revealed to have charged the public for £8000 worth of spending on clothes, shoes and trips to the salon.
The Daily Record reported that Bolander had charged to taxpayer for 23 pairs of shoes, bags of designer clothes and even a pair of pricey specs.
Whilst her expense claims fell within the rules, Bolander has been criticised for the spending at a time when council budgets are under pressure.
Scottish Labour's Monica Lennon pointed out: "Her £8,000 fashion spending spree would have funded 72 school clothing grants. She should resign."
