Labour figures defend Corbyn over Jewdas appearance
Jeremy Corbyn has come in for heavy criticism for attending a Jewish Passover Seder dinner with a left Jewish group called Jewdas.
A number of Labour movement figures have come to Corbyn's defence.

Can everyone chill out! Not sure the Jewdas Seder was in place of all other community engagement.— Dave Gould (@davesgould) April 3, 2018
Jeremy isn’t now banned from talking to one group of Jews because he spoke to another.
Though it increasingly feels like it, this isn’t the school bloody playground.
NEC Member Rhea Wolfson
Brilliant from @charlotte2153 "those wishing to demonise Jeremy Corbyn have painted a deeply offensive and misrepresentative picture of the group as somehow antithetical to the “mainstream Jewish community"https://t.co/wkTzMgk6Va— Rhea Wolfson (@rheawolfson) April 3, 2018

• Deleting the Jewishness of Jews who don't fit your agenda is sickening
• Non-Jews creating lists of 'Good Jews' & 'Bad Jews' does not make you an ally of Jews#r4today

Labour MPs and members approvingly Guido Fawkes is grotesque.— Owen Jones🌹 (@OwenJones84) April 3, 2018
He's a hard right extremist who championed the Contra terrorists, who told me the left is "evil", who told me he opposes democracy because it gives power to the "have nots", whose blog is a cesspit of bigotry.
