Left Chair re-elected to Labour's National Constitutional Committee
Glasgow-based Labour activist, Anna Dyer, was re-elected unopposed to Labour's main disciplinary body.
Dyer, who replaced Labour First activist, Maggie Cosin, had been serving as Chair of the National Constitutional Committee on an interim capacity since September, but has now been unanimously elected to head the body.
Her candidacy was endorsed by the Centre-Left Grassroots Alliance, a broad campaign of left-wing groups supporting Jeremy Corbyn's leadership of the party. CLGA backed candidates won all six membership spots on the NCC at this year's Liverpool conference.
The NCC meets once a year, but determines who the chairs of disciplinary panels are that oversee the controversial cases of alleged misconduct.
